My druid, I dropped both professions and picked up Inscription and Blacksmithing. I used 125k gold to powerlevel their professions. I used TheUndermineJournal to look at my server, and see where the competition was and was not.įor context - I had a 120 Druid main, and a 120 shaman alt. I had limited reputations and my professions were janky/hot garbage/not leveled well. Like I stated above, I came back to 8.3 after a long time off (8.0 and a few mythic runs). I’m 4.7 million away - I dont have reputations or professions in a good spot. > I soon learned that night it’s going away with the pre-patch. I was starting to scan the Auction House - he stands next to me - toothbrush in his mouth - and sees someone with the Brutosaur and was in love. While brushing his teeth (he’s younger), he walked over to my laptop. > I’m at a rare time one night, when my son was taking forever to get ready for bed. All my friends upped our accounts and we were back to it. > When I came back (early April), Covid had been out - and the xp buff was live. I took my gold, and turned it into Blizzard balance - and left myself with 300k (some don’t have this luxury). At this time we all decided to stop playing - I thought we were done ( lol, sure). > My real life friends and I started playing BFA, got to 120 - ran some mythics in 8.0 and stopped playing after 3 to 4 runs. I’ve always loved gold making, but haven’t has as much of a focus compared to now. > Ive played WoW in every expansion, except for Cataclysm. So, for those that are more interested in why this happened, here we go. I play on a ‘High pop’ NA server (should be a Medium Pop). I focused on crafting, flipping, and farming (loosely garrisons as well).
1 hourish a day (weekday) if possible, of AFK crafting. Their guides, tips and tricks and informative posts got me to my Bruto - thank you all. > Huge shoutouts to /u/Dalalikesgold - /u/samadanplayswow - /u/selimthedream - /u/tuazo - /u/king_cpb - as well as KrakenLatte and WTBGold.
This journey was unlike any others I’ve had in WoW. I believe that by the end of the week this number should jump somewhere between 20-25k gold/day with my current methods, which is just a wee bit shy of me reaching my current goal - 1 million gold. Second, and more important reason - according to TSM I have been earning 17k gold/day on average. I really like the idea of playing the auction house in order to earn some kind of profit. So, why am I here and writing all of this? Well, two reasons - one is to thank you for making this game fun for me again. From that I used 5k to buy my farming druid a 410% flight speed. Finally, a person I boosted pitched in another 22k gold which brings me to total of 175k gold. In the past 2.5 days I have earned about 70 k gold from raw gold, vendoring greens and trash and selling Tidespray Linen and Blood-stained bones on AH, while actively playing for 6-8 hours/day. It took me a good day to learn the routes (because I'm dumb) but just from raw gold and materials alone my income skyrocketed.
I decided to learn how to farm Freehold under 6 minutes for boosting and how to farm Atal'dazar in under 30 mins/instance lockout. So I decided to focus more on raw gold income. My next stop was farming various herbs and mining nodes in Kul Tiras, which gave me about 15k for a two hour farm, which was better but still quite low. Overall I think I earned about 8k gold from 6-8h work, which definitely wasn't worth it. Though I have seen some profit, so far it really didn't pay off that much. I began with the simplest way - earning raw gold and playing the auction house games with gathering professions.įirst day I spent farming various spots ranging from vanilla content to MoP to see if the mats sold on the auction house. One of the most common recommendations was to diversify your market which is precisely what I decided to do. In the past four days I have read various guides and popular suggestions on how to start. I had a fairly decent setup - I already banked about 60k gold from just questing or doing mythic runs and I currently have 4 characters on level 120 (DH, 2 Hunters and Druid with various iLvls) and I have also unlocked BfA flying (I haven't unlocked either WoD or Legion). I have two goals on my mind - Purchasing monthly subscription and Shadowlands expansion using WoW Token before prepatch comes out. I have been a fan of this sub for a long while now but only 5 days ago did I decide to become a goblin myself as I have grown bored of the game itself.
